As the Senior Copywriter at Winc, I worked directly with the Philadelphia Eagles team to create their official wine brand — Broad & Pattison. Broad & Pattison is an intersection in the heart of Philadelphia that houses the cities’ sports arenas. This being the hub of all sports fandom in the region, the tagline A Common Love On Common Ground was born to encompass the universal feeling of the iconic crossroads.

The story of Broad & Pattison is one of coming together. Its inspiration comes from a physical intersection, but it’s what meets here that makes it so special. Anyone familiar with the area knows what the cross-street holds and the label write-up is meant to give fans the feeling of being there from anywhere, even during the off-season.

To add to the overall fan experience of unboxing their beloved teams’ wines, these in-box additives introduce the different varietals while, of course, pairing them with Philly’s classic cuisine. So whether fans are tailgating or tuning in from the couch, they’ll get the full Philly experience.
